BGMI Onegame Series

Two days. Thirty-two teams. And by the end of it, half of them were going home.

The ONE Game Championship Summer Series BGMI Pre-Quarter Finals kicked off on 18th April with Group A, and continued on 19th April with Group B. If you missed it live — here’s everything that went down, who made it through, and why the next few days are going to be even more intense.

The stakes are real. ₹8 lakh in prize money is on the line, and every match from here decides who gets a shot at it.

Group A — 18th April: Gods Reign Take Over

Group A was the first test of the tournament, and one team made it very clear very quickly that they came here to win.

Gods Reign finished at the top of the Group A standings with 83 total points — 3 chicken dinners, 36 placement points, and 47 kills across 6 matches. Nobody else in the group came close. Their player DeltaPG was the MVP of the entire group, putting up 20 kills and a 42.55% damage contribution. That’s not just a good performance — that’s a statement.

Meta Ninza came in second with 65 points, followed by Wyld Fangs at 58. Nebula Esports (56) and Genesis Esports(49) rounded out the top 5. Their MVP KnowMe finished second in the group with 17 kills and a 36.96% contribution.

And then there’s Legit from iQOO Soul — 16 kills, but a 51.61% damage contribution, which was the highest contribution percentage among all three Group A MVPs. iQOO Soul finished 7th in the group, which means they’re through — but they’ll need to bring a lot more of what Legit was doing if they want to go further.

The 8 teams advancing from Group A: Gods Reign · Meta Ninza · Wyld Fangs · Nebula Esports · Genesis Esports · Myth Esports · iQOO Soul · Virgo Esports

For the remaining 8 teams — Reign Esports, Team 4DS, DGY Esports, Team Hunter, Arise Esports, Saga Esports, Zephyr Squad, Joy Bangla — the championship ends here. Six matches, everything they had, and it wasn’t enough. That’s BGMI at this level.

Group B — 19th April: Phoenix Esports Rise to the Top

If Group A had a dominant story, Group B had more chaos — and a clear winner who held it together better than everyone else.

Phoenix Esports topped Group B with 68 points. 2 chicken dinners, 29 placement points, 39 kills. Their player Player1was the Group B MVP — 15 kills, 38.46% contribution. Controlled, consistent, and clinical.

Victores Sumus were right behind them at 65 points, and they put two players in the MVP standings — Mafia (14 kills, 35.90%) at #2 and Venom (14 kills, 35.90%) at #3. Both players with identical numbers. That kind of dual carry performance is rare, and it’s the reason Victores Sumus are a name to watch going forward.

Higgboson Esports finished third with 59 points, followed by Do or Die (53) and iQOO Orangutan (46).

One result worth pausing on: Hero Xtreme Godlike — one of the more recognized names in the bracket — finished 8th with 37 points. They made it through, but just barely. They’ll know that.

The 8 teams advancing from Group B: Phoenix Esports · Victores Sumus · Higgboson Esports · Do or Die · iQOO Orangutan · Team Resilience · Learn From Past · Hero Xtreme Godlike

The 8 teams whose run ends here: Team Blasty, No Excuse, Team NxGen Esports, 3 Eyed Ravens, Tixzy Esports, The Unknowns, 7xEsports, TEAMxDEVIL.

What’s Next — And Why It Gets Harder From Here

16 teams. All of them earned their spot. None of them came this far to go quietly.

The tournament moves into the Quarter Finals, then Semi Finals, and ends with the Grand Finale on 29th April. Every round is 16 teams in the same lobby, every round someone goes home. The format doesn’t let teams hide.

A few matchups worth tracking as the bracket tightens: Gods Reign looked like the best team in the pre-quarters by a significant margin, but Phoenix Esports and Victores Sumus are going to push them. iQOO Soul have the pedigree — Season 1 champions — but they’ll need to turn up the performance level. And Hero Xtreme Godlike scraped through. Either they find another gear, or they’re out early.

Watch the kills leaderboard closely too. DeltaPG, KnowMe, Player1, Mafia, Venom, Legit — these are the players who are going to decide the next few days.
